About

This project blog space tracks the ongoing work on and thinking about informal learning spaces around Penn State University.  Much of the content here is driven by the Informal Learning Spaces group that has been asked to create a long-term vision for physical spaces that students use to research, plan, create, and collaborate.  This will involve looking at existing spaces at the University Park campus (and hopefully other Penn State campuses), existing spaces at other universities, trends in student use of space and technology, and best practices in room design.

If you have questions or ideas, please e-mail them to learningspaces@psu.edu.
