mid-October the LMS Pilot Team held four focus groups with pilot participants to assess the strengths and weaknesses of each platform in a group setting. In fall 2010, two focus groups were held for faculty/support
staff participating in the Moodle or Desire2Learn pilot and another two were held for students using Moodle or Desire2Learn system. In spring 2011, the LMS Pilot Team will have another two focus groups with
Blackboard pilot participants. The LMS Pilot Team will work with the Education Technology Services Assessment Team to develop the focus group format and categorize the feedback given by the participants.
